Pour sa toute premi\u00e8re participation aux championnats du monde, la Glaronaise a d\u00e9croch\u00e9 la m\u00e9daille de bronze dans la course sur route de la cat\u00e9gorie WH4. Mais ce triomphe sportif n\u2019est qu\u2019une facette de son remarquable parcours, \u00e9troitement li\u00e9 \u00e0 son activit\u00e9 au sein de l\u2019Association suisse des guides de montagne (ASGM).<\/p>\n<p><strong>M\u00e9daille de bronze aux championnats du monde de paracyclisme \u00e0 Zurich<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Lors de la course sur route des championnats du monde de paracyclisme \u00e0 Zurich, Sandra Fuhrer a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 une performance exceptionnelle. Sur le parcours de 38 kilom\u00e8tres, elle a pu se d\u00e9tacher du reste du peloton dans les derniers tours en compagnie de Jennette Jansen (NED) et Cornelia Wibmer (AUT). Bien que Sandra Fuhrer \u00e9tait encore en t\u00eate au dernier temps interm\u00e9diaire, elle a d\u00fb s\u2019avouer vaincue de justesse \u00e0 la fin, terminant \u00e0 une solide troisi\u00e8me place, 15 secondes derri\u00e8re la N\u00e9erlandaise et seulement 13 secondes derri\u00e8re l\u2019Autrichienne.<\/p>\n<p>Ce succ\u00e8s \u00e9tait totalement inattendu pour la jeune femme de 38 ans : \u00ab C\u2019est une grande surprise pour moi, je ne m\u2019y attendais pas et je dois prendre le temps du recul pour en profiter pleinement \u00bb, a-t-elle d\u00e9clar\u00e9 apr\u00e8s la course, visiblement \u00e9mue. Le fait qu\u2019il s\u2019agisse de sa premi\u00e8re m\u00e9daille dans une comp\u00e9tition internationale rend son succ\u00e8s d\u2019autant plus remarquable. C\u2019est une \u00e9tape importante pour Sandra Fuhrer, qui ne fait partie du cadre de la rel\u00e8ve du paracyclisme que depuis deux ans et qui n\u2019a pu acqu\u00e9rir que peu d\u2019exp\u00e9rience en comp\u00e9tition jusqu\u2019\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Un chemin de retour apr\u00e8s la chute<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le parcours de Sandra Fuhrer vers le paracyclisme a commenc\u00e9 de mani\u00e8re tragique. En 2014, elle a subi une grave blessure lors d\u2019une chute en escalade alpine, ce qui a entra\u00een\u00e9 une parapl\u00e9gie. L\u2019accident a signifi\u00e9 un bouleversement total de sa vie, mais Sandra a surmont\u00e9 ce d\u00e9fi avec une force et une d\u00e9termination impressionnante.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Un travail engag\u00e9 au sein de l\u2019Association suisse des guides de montagne (ASGM)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Depuis 2015, Sandra Fuhrer travaille \u00e0 l\u2019ASGM \u00e0 Berne, o\u00f9 elle est notamment responsable de la formation. Son activit\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019ASGM est embl\u00e9matique de son profond attachement \u00e0 la montagne, m\u00eame si elle ne peut plus participer activement aux sports de montagne apr\u00e8s son accident. Son travail est marqu\u00e9 par l\u2019exigence de soutenir au mieux les guides de montagne dans leur formation exigeante.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019ASGM s\u2019est montr\u00e9e fi\u00e8re de la r\u00e9ussite sportive de Sandra Fuhrer et l\u2019a chaleureusement f\u00e9licit\u00e9e. Ses performances, tant sur le plan professionnel que sportif, montrent comment elle a su trouver sa voie malgr\u00e9 les obstacles que la vie a mis sur son chemin. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 sa performance, elle a offert non seulement \u00e0 elle-m\u00eame, mais aussi \u00e0 la Suisse et un peu \u00e0 l\u2019Association suisse des guides de montagne (ASGM) une septi\u00e8me m\u00e9daille lors de ces championnats du monde \u00e0 domicile. Son avenir dans le paracyclisme et son travail \u00e0 l\u2019ASGM continueront sans aucun doute d\u2019\u00eatre marqu\u00e9s par cette d\u00e9termination.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n<section
