La r\u00e9gion fait partie du parc tectonique glaronnais Sardona, inscrit au patrimoine naturel mondial de l&rsquo;UNESCO. La r\u00e9gion est particuli\u00e8rement connue pour le Martinsloch, une fen\u00eatre rocheuse naturelle par laquelle le soleil levant brille deux fois par an pendant environ une minute, attirant ainsi de nombreux curieux.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;\u00e9boulement a rendu le Martinsloch inaccessible, raison pour laquelle les alpinistes et les randonneurs sont fortement d\u00e9conseill\u00e9s de s&rsquo;aventurer dans la r\u00e9gion. On craint en effet que d&rsquo;autres \u00e9boulements ne se produisent. La zone au-dessus du Martinsloch est d\u00e9j\u00e0 connue pour sa forte activit\u00e9 de chutes de pierres, ce qui est encore renforc\u00e9 par les tremblements de terre qui se produisent r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement dans la r\u00e9gion. Ces tremblements de terre peuvent fragiliser la roche et provoquer de nouveaux \u00e9boulements. Bien qu&rsquo;aucun tremblement de terre n&rsquo;ait \u00e9t\u00e9 mesur\u00e9 dans les environs imm\u00e9diats ces derniers jours, le danger reste pr\u00e9sent.<\/p>\n<p>La nature instable des roches verrucanes qui forment les Tschingelh\u00f6rner est cit\u00e9e comme cause possible de l&rsquo;\u00e9boulement. Ces roches, qui se trouvent directement au-dessus de ce que l&rsquo;on appelle le chevauchement principal de Glaris, sont particuli\u00e8rement vuln\u00e9rables \u00e0 de tels \u00e9boulements. Le chevauchement principal de Glaris est une fronti\u00e8re g\u00e9ologique entre diff\u00e9rentes couches de roches, et le Martinsloch perce cette couche \u00e0 peu pr\u00e8s \u00e0 mi-hauteur de la montagne.<\/p>\n<div class='avia-iframe-wrap'><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Haut lieu tectonique suisse Sardona - Face aux Alpe\" width=\"1500\" height=\"844\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/hX-1aswbQJE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Les habitants d&rsquo;Elm, qui voient la cr\u00eate du sommet tous les jours, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 les premiers \u00e0 remarquer que l&rsquo;aspect de la montagne avait nettement chang\u00e9. Les causes de l&rsquo;\u00e9boulement font encore l&rsquo;objet d&rsquo;une enqu\u00eate, avec des discussions sur l&rsquo;influence du changement climatique et des ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques extr\u00eames. En particulier, l&rsquo;\u00e9t\u00e9 chaud combin\u00e9 \u00e0 de fortes pluies en 2022 pourrait avoir provoqu\u00e9 des instabilit\u00e9s similaires \u00e0 celles du Piz Dolf voisin.<\/p>\n<p>Le g\u00e9ologue Thomas Buckingham attribue l&rsquo;\u00e9boulement aux variations constantes de temp\u00e9rature ainsi qu&rsquo;\u00e0 une ann\u00e9e tr\u00e8s pluvieuse. La r\u00e9gion concern\u00e9e \u00e9tait connue depuis longtemps pour son risque de chutes de pierres, et le danger de nouveaux \u00e9boulements reste pr\u00e9sent.<\/p>\n<p>Le Martinsloch n&rsquo;est plus accessible aux randonneurs en raison de l&rsquo;\u00e9boulement, a ajout\u00e9 Buckingham.
